Syarfina,

I definitely agree with your thoughts on mentoring and how being a mentor can be pivotal at a young age. It does truly develop some of the best leadership skills and makes a person much more confident for the rest of his/her life. I feel also, at this young age, that having guidance from a Mentor will help to develop certain business skills that can only come from experience. The mentor is there to help you learn from his/her mistakes and help guide you to success. If one can do both, that is the best of both worlds, regardless of age or skill: you can share your knowledge and experience and also learn from others. Giving knowledge and sharing knowledge: the mentoring cycle continues.

Mentoring has been more difficult in the past, in that it was hard to find either a Mentor or a Mentee, however there are no longer any obstacles. At our organization, Advance Mentoring
http://www.advancementoring.com/
we match Mentors and Mentees in professional mentoring relationships, regardless of industry or experience. So, now there is a place to meet your Mentor and your Mentee. We truly want to help people succeed in their careers: please help us in our conquest and join and tell your friends!

As always, please let me or Lucas know if you have any questions or suggestions.

Good luck!

Noah
